The Amelia in the Wild:
These pants are wonderful in many of the same respects as the women we know and admire: versatile, thoughtful, multi-faceted. These are of course great for work but also feel as close as I can get to wearing lounge pants in a “business-casual” environment. The pockets actually fit your phone, which is truly refreshing. The pants are also machine-washable (and dry quickly) which makes them all the more practical. So grateful to Pairess for these thoughtfully designed pants! I got so many compliments on them, especially because I’m petite (5’3) and the pants still fit well, which is hard to find!
The second I tried these pants on I literally gasped. They fit perfectly around the waist and hug the hips so WELL!! They look like your traditional pair of work pants but they feel so different. The fabric is so stretchy and breathable the pockets are so deep! If you are going to get pants for work I highly recommend this silhouette.
Well fit PJ pants that make me look way more put together than I feel. So excited to see what else Pairess creates. Also obviously, POCKETS - sturdy AF.
These pants are so slimming and look way more expensive than they are. The quality feels like they're designed to last. I have the original Amelia pants as well, and they've worn much better than any work pants I've purchased from Ann Taylor, JCrew, etc. If you're unsure on sizing, I'm 5'1" and 121 lbs and got the x-small (I'm usually a 2P or 4P in Ann Taylor). I need to get about an inch or two hemmed (typical for me), but they fit perfectly in the thigh and butt area where I have some curve.
I was a bit suspicious of how the pants would come straight out of the washer, but it really surprised me of being actually wrinkle-free (no more paying for dry-washing, yay!!!). I was in-between the sizes so bought the bigger size, it fits really really comfortable, not feeling 'restricting' at all as most professional outfits (which was why I sized up, maybe I'd pick the smaller size next time for a more tailored fit).
The pants are high waisted and made with a very high quality fabric. They have elastic on the back and the front cut hides problem areas-looks perfect with a top tucked in!
